"Let's start with the concert. The Maine is one of my favorite bands, saw them last year at First Midwest Amphitheater in Tinley Park and they were awesome and they were just as great this past Thursday. They seem to really enjoy playing in Chicago. An added bonus to all this was I saw the concert with my daughter who just turned 18 and her cousin and was great to see them loving the same music I have loved my whole life. They had a great time along with my wife Angie and myself.
Allstate is a very nice smaller size arena (waaay better than United Center) to see a concert. The staff is friendly and professional. Very easy to get to either if you're staying at a hotel close or parking in the lot (easy to get in and out of). Now for the concert, I haven't seen hide nor hair of Lita Ford for years. Brought back early 80's but I like her and she and her band can rock. Never seen Poison before, very high energy, and Brett Michaels sure looks like he is doing well. Good performer."
